RULES OF PLAY

* All children MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. LITTLE BUDDIES does not accept responsibility for the supervision of children.

* Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to supervise children within the play structure.

* Only children who are under 140cm in height may play. Children over this height may play at the discretion of the supervising staff.  LITTLE BUDDIES staff have the final decision.

* Children should be encouraged to use the toilet, wash and sanitise their hands before entering the play area.

* Spectacles should only be worn if necessary but if not essential may preferably be removed.

* All shoes need to be removed before entering the play area. Socks must be worn at all times. In case of a problem, please discuss this with a member of staff.  We are aware that some of our little visitors may have sensory processing issues and that wearing socks can be an issue.  If this is the case then the member of staff may permit the child to enter without socks.  The parent/guardian must take responsibility for the added risks that occur when entering the playcentre without socks.

* Age restrictions are in place on the different play structures. These are present for the safety and enjoyment of all children. We kindly ask that parents help to enforce these restrictions, particularly asking children over 4yrs to stay out of our ‘under 4’s’ area.

* We recommend to parents that children wear long sleeves and trousers. When possible clothes should be tucked in at all times. Football shirts and other items of clothing that are made from man made fibres are not recommended and will prevent children from using some of the attractions within LITTLE BUDDIES.

* It is not permitted for children to play without clothing or bare limbs (tops must be worn at all times).

* Clothes with ropes and cords should not be worn in the play area.

* It is strictly forbidden to climb on the netted walls particularly the outside of the structure.

* Children and parents are asked to keep away from the barrier area on the mezzanine floor.  At no times should anyone hang over or balance anything upon the ledge.  It is parents responsibility to ensure that children do not climb on the barrier.

* No food, drink or chewing gum should be taken into the play area.

* It is forbidden to smoke (including E-Cigs) within the play centre.  Strictly no smoking within the toilets.

* Children who are unwell should not enter the play centre.  Any child who has been sick needs to be removed from the play structure as soon as possible.

* Balls or other objects should not be thrown at each other.

* Fighting or bullying will not be tolerated.  All parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that their own child/children are kind to others. Guilty parties may be asked to leave.

* Play is restricted to 2 hours during peak times.

* Parents/Guardians are responsible for the behaviour and well being of the child in their care and must maintain supervision at all times.

* In the interest of Health and Safety, please ensure that any food debris which falls on the floor is picked/wiped up as soon as possible. Please report any spillages to a member of staff and they will be addressed as soon as possible.

* Whilst within the playcentre all children are the responsibility of their parents/guardians, however accidents may happen. We ask that you report all accidents to a member of staff.  First aid is the responsibility of the parent/guardian but we will help if we can provide any necessary assistance.  It is up to the parent/guardian to seek further professional support if necessary via Accident & Emergency or a doctor.

*All damages to LITTLE BUDDIES property either accidental or deliberate must be reported to a member of staff.

* Nappy changing and the use of potties etc. should be completed within the toilet area. Please place nappies in the correct bins provided.

* For Health and Safety reasons, only food purchased at LITTLE BUDDIES may be consumed on the premises.  We reserve the right to ask customers to leave if they do not adhere to this request.

* As must as is reasonably possible we strive to be a NUT FREE site and ask particularly that nuts are not brought into the premises at all.

* We ask that should you have any behavioural concerns, you report them to a member of staff. We will try our utmost to rectify the issue promptly. Don’t attempt to intervene yourself.  We will not tolerate shouting at someone else’s child.

*Parents/Guardians should note that whilst every consideration has been given for the safety of children using the play centre, LITTLE BUDDIES cannot be held responsible for accidents which occur as a result of children playing on the equipment!
